Nope! We’ve tested Future to ensure it plays nicely in your beauty routine! However, in some cases, pilling can be related to what you’re layering or how you’re applying your products. We recommend applying any face serums to damp skin as well as waiting 60 seconds between skincare steps so that each product is absorbed better and can sink in properly. Another suggestion would be to avoid layering too many serums underneath and apply your products thinnest to thickest (with SPF always last). It seems kind of silly but exfoliating regularly can help too as it will get rid of any rough skin underneath that might be exacerbating the pilling.

Future Fluid™ is a gentle, Zinc based formula, that Vi’s had clinically tested to be suitable for sensitive skin, so it’s perfect for those with sensitive eyes too.

When first swatched on the skin, Future Fluid™ can look tinted due to the mineral formula, however, it won’t provide any coverage. (Check out Daydream Screen™ SPF 50 if you want lightweight, buildable coverage!)

So, you’ve followed the directions, shaken your bottle before use, and heard a little ball rolling around inside? We promise it’s meant to be there! Sometimes, if you’re switching between your SKINSCREENS™ and you haven’t used Future in a while, (because it’s totally not that you’re not wearing an SPF everyday) you might notice the colour of the formula doesn’t look even. This is because Iron Oxides have a heavier weight and the little ball helps to distribute them evenly, ensuring a smooth finish.

Great question! Future Fluid™ is super lightweight and perfect for everyday use and under makeup. If you’re doing gentle exercise, Future is great at providing soothing, weightless protection. However, the formula isn’t water-resistant, so you’d need to reapply more frequently for super sweaty or high-intensity activities. 

If you’re out and about being your sporty self and need something that can stand up to water or sweat, we’d recommend Extreme Screen SPF 50+ as it’s 4 hours water and sweat-resistant! 

It may come as a surprise, but mineral and chemical SPF isn’t as different as you might think! They work in very similar ways – Chemical UV Filters neutralise UV rays as they come into contact with skin, and Mineral UV Filters do the same to 95% of UV rays, the other 5% being reflected. 

When choosing an SPF that is right for you, it’s important to consider the whole formula, beyond the UV filters. For example, if you’re sensitive to fragrance and want a water-like texture and brightening ingredients, Fave Fluid™ SPF 50+, which has chemical UV filters would suit you best! Or if your skin is ultra-reactive and sensitive, you might want to try Future Fluid™ SPF 50+ for a natural finish and fluid texture or Lean Screen™ SPF 50+ for a matte finish and cream texture, both of which use Zinc to protect and soothe the skin.  

Ultimately, the best choice between chemical and mineral sunscreen comes down to your skin’s needs and what feels the best for you!

Yes, absolutely! We created Super Glow Drops so you could SPF your way and customise the finish of any of our SKINSCREENS™. When it comes to all sunscreens, to ensure you’re getting the full protection listed on the bottle you need to apply ¼ teaspoon to your face. So with this in mind, here are a few ways you can use Super Glow Drops SPF 50 and ensure you're properly protected: 

• Mix them with your SKINSCREEN™: As long as the total amount of product applied equals ¼ teaspoon, you're covered! While it's not something you could do with other skincare and makeup products, we've tested our Screens together to ensure they're still effective and protective. 
• Layer with your SKINSCREEN™: Same as above, the total amount of product applied just needs to equal ¼ teaspoon. 
• Wear Super Glow Drops alone: They can absolutely be worn by themselves as long as you apply ¼ teaspoon. For some it might be too luminous, and for others it's the perfect finish. You do you! 
• Wear your SKINSCREEN™, then use Super Glow Drops as a makeup product or mixed into any other beauty product: You've probably caught on by now, but if you're wearing ¼ teaspoon of another SPF as a base, you can use Super Glow Drops however you like without relying on the SPF protection and worrying about destabilising the UV filters.
