ROLE OVERVIEW: 

At Ultra Violette, great design and great content aren't two separate things – they're the same creative instinct expressed differently. This role will live in both worlds: using your aesthetic eye to craft content that doesn't just stop a scroll but actually tells a story. You'll bring polish and precision to our digital assets while staying plugged into what's moving on social – adapting quickly to trends without ever losing the essence of what makes UV, UV. This is a role for someone who is detail-obsessed on the design side, and instinctive and creative on the social side. 

What you'll do: 

  • Design digital assets across paid advertising, organic socials, EDM’s and website – working closely with the Head of Design and Digital Marketing team to evolve and execute creative across all channels. 
  • Work with and brief external creative, social-first design/production agencies where relevant. 
  • Conceptualise, produce and deliver social-first content end-to-end across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms – from idea through to posting, with a strong focus on video. 
  • Input into creative social strategy – contributing content ideas, identifying trends early, and helping build and evolve UV's visual world on social. 
  • Maintain and help evolve Ultra Violette's visual systems and brand standards through social and digital. 
  • Feature in and direct on-camera content where relevant, and collaborate across founders, marketing, education and product teams to bring campaigns to life. 
  • Analyse performance across channels and use data to optimise – you test, learn, and iterate. 
  • Self-manage multiple projects, prioritise your own workload, and consistently deliver to deadline without needing to be chased. 

Who you are 

  • 2+ years of full-time professional experience across digital design and content creation – agency, in-house, or a mix of both. 
  • Proficient across design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or equivalent) and content/editing platforms (CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot or similar). 
  • An excellent eye for design, typography, and emerging trends – with the ability to hold a brand visual language across both crafted assets and raw, native content. 
  • Demonstrated experience designing for digital: social posts, paid ads, EDMs, GIF animations, and web assets. 
  • Demonstrated brand content experience across TikTok and Meta  
  • A creative thinker who can pitch ideas with confidence and isn't afraid to push boundaries – while still knowing when to stay on-brand. 
  • Extremely high attention to detail, balanced with the agility to move quickly when the moment calls for it. 
  • Comfortable being both in front of and behind the camera, and genuinely at ease contributing ideas in a fast-moving team. 
  • A natural understanding of UV's tone – real, confident, funny and never taking itself too seriously.
