Every new Ultra Violette formula undergoes at least two, and in many cases three to five, rounds of independent SPF and UVA testing at different laboratories before it launches. Our entire existing range has now been retested under this same stringent process, and we're committed to retesting our products every 18 months. All of this testing is done on products taken straight off the shelf, the same tubes you would buy, and every single result has come back at or above its labelled SPF.

That rigour extends to the labs themselves. Many of our labs utilise BIPEA accreditation, a non-profit that sends every lab the same sample to test and scores how accurately each one performs, providing quality control for the labs themselves, not just the products. We are also working with SunCert, an organisation recognised globally for its expertise in sun protection science, for an additional layer of independent scrutiny. Importantly, we are no longer working with the manufacturer or laboratory originally used to make and test Lean Screen.
