Meet the new Super Glow Drops SPF50
Mixing your SPF with makeup has always been a big nope. Best case, you’re diluting your SPF, disrupting the film an SPF needs to form and leaving you with lower protection. Worst case, you’re changing the formula, so it splits or bunches in certain areas and leaves you with patchy protection.
Super Glow Drops SPF50 have been tested with your fave SKINSCREEN™ so they're completely safe to cocktail for a time-saving tint, while simultaneously delivering SPF50 protection. Cute hey?

Absolutely not! Nothing could ever replace our beloved Queen (who’s making a comeback in early 2024).
Super Glow Drops are a *limited edition* addition to your existing SPF routine, to customise the finish and help you to SPF your way!
They’re not going to increase the UVA/UVB protection, but they are going to maintain it.
Mixing products into your SPF is typically a huge no-no because it can destabilise the UV filters or just dilute the SPF. Vi knows it’s so tempting though.
Maybe you want to customise the finish of your fave formula, or you need to save time in the morning and want to combine steps. That’s why Super Glow Drops SPF50 were created; so you can safely cocktail with your fave UV Screen and SPF your way!
They’re sisters, not twins. Super Glow Drops SPF50 have been designed and tested to cocktail with your fave UV SPF, whereas Daydream Screen SPF50 is a tinted SPF.
Formula wise, there’s not a huge difference though. They use the same base, with Super Glow Drops having additional shimmer and bronzing ingredients.
No, but also yes.
If you’re wearing the full, recommended amount of SPF underneath, go for it!
If you'd like to use as a makeup product, you absolutely can, however you just can’t expect to get any SPF protection when using it this way because:
a. You need 1/4 teaspoon of SPF to get the full protection listed on the bottle and a couple drops into your foundation won't cut it.
b. Mixing Super Glow Drops SPF50 into your foundation can destablisise the UV filters, leaving you with little to no protection.
As an SPF brand, it’s essential that all of our products provide high UVA and UVB protection. To deliver SPF50 within Super Glow Drops, various UV filters are utilised including Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides. These UV filters are multi-purpose and are also essential to suspend the mica (shimmer), so it’s evenly distributed throughout the product. Otherwise, it can split and sink to the bottom; think the sediment in a natural wine.
Maybe! Truth is, this is a limited edition launch so we’re just seeing how it goes first. Vi is so more than ready to develop more colours if Super Glow Drops SPF50 are a hit!
While Super Glow Drops are limited edition and their future availability is currently unknown, rest assured, should they continue to stay around, the colour options will absolutely be expanding.
