The formula
It’s zinc, yes – but not as you’ve ever known her. Y’see we’re big fans of zinc, as evidenced by two of our SKINSCREENS™, which are mineral sunscreens. Clean Screen™ is the OG, with a partial-mineral gel formula that’s SPF 30 and a big hit with our acne-prone or normal-combo friends. Then there’s Lean Screen™, the zinc-only SPF 50+ formula that best suits oily, sensitive and reactive types.
That’s an impressive crew, right? Vi sure reckons it is, but after we launched our lightest-ever SKINSCREEN™ last year, Fave Fluid™, we wanted to introduce a similar kinda super-light texture for future-proofers that were fans of zinc SPF. Was it easy? No. Did Vi pull it off? You betcha! Future Fluid™ SPF 50+ Superlight Zinc SKINSCREEN™ is officially the best damn fluid zinc sunscreen ever.
The fit and feel
Obvi we had to make sure that any SPF we made would feel just as good as the rest of our closet of SKINSCREENS™. It’s always Vi’s aim to ensure that putting on your SPF every morning is always a pleasure, never a chore – so we gave Future Fluid™ a silky-smooth, superlight no-feel fluid texture that feels like next-to-nothing on the skin. Zero heaviness here!
We also knew that a lot of our zinc-loving future-proofers have sensitive or reactive skin, so we left out the fragrance and added in a bunch of soothing skin actives, including including Vitamin E, Squalane and Glycerin to hydrate, calm and support the skin barrier.
Don’t get it twisted though, Future Fluid™ feels good for combo, oily and normal skin types too – or anyone who just so happens to prefer a mineral SPF!
The finish
No thick, greasy residue on the skin – instead Future Fluid™ slips seamlessly over the skin for a natural, skin-perfecting finish. It’s the closest you can get to going bare (but like, without the super-risky sun exposure bit). Think: less glow than Queen Screen™, but a touch more radiance than Fave Fluid™.
